Start reading. KdramaRecaps. Complete. Based on webcomic "Cheese in the Trap" by Soon Ggi (first published from July 7, 2010 via comic.naver.com/webtoon/) Drama depicts the delicate relationship between female university student Hong Seol (Kim Go-Eun) and her senior Yoo Jung (Park Hae-Jin).
Cheese in the Trap is one drama I would rewatch just to appreciate Park Hae Jin's character because quite honestly he did a great job. It's one drama that is unconventional and I liked it that way. The main lead has a weird way of showing his love towards his girlfriend which he thinks works but seems cruel to others.
Born into poverty, Hong Sol is a hardworking student and part-time worker determined to overcome her station in life. Existing worlds apart is Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin), the rich heir to a multinational corporation who is known for being broody and manipulative towards those he dislikes.
Cheese in the Trap did amazingly well at capturing the atmosphere of a college campus and all its students going about their busy lives. But by the time the finale rolled around and the writers ran out of source material, I felt like I was forcing myself to watch each episode. And it seems that I wasn't the only person upset by this.
